General
What does a trade fair forwarding company do?
We specialize in logistics for trade fairs & event appearances – from collecting your stand materials to on-time delivery, storage, empty goods handling, and return transport after the trade fair/event.
Planing & Booking
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier, the better – ideally as soon as you have booked your stand space. This way we can schedule transport, customs, and any special requests in good time.
Can I also book at short notice?
Yes! For short-notice requests, please contact us directly by phone.
Do you assist with trade fair & event planning?
Yes. We advise you on transport times, storage, customs, setup and dismantling, as well as special solutions.
Transport & Delivery
How will my goods be transported?
With specially equipped vehicles (tail lift, load securing, etc.) and experienced drivers.
When will my shipment arrive?
Please contact the responsible project manager.
What if I can’t reach the project manager?
We have set up an emergency hotline: +49 202 27158 88
Do you also transport large or delicate goods?
Yes. We have experience with bulky or sensitive exhibits.
Do you handle hazardous goods transport?
Yes, as long as the materials are approved. Please register them in advance.
Do you offer temperature-controlled transport?
Yes. For sensitive goods such as electronics or food, we provide climate-controlled vehicles.
On-Site at the Trade Show
When will you be on the exhibition grounds?
At some projects, we have our own staff on-site, which we announce in advance. If you would like us to be on-site for you, please contact us beforehand.
Do you offer empty/full goods handling?
Yes. We collect empty/full goods after setup, store them, and deliver them again for dismantling.
Can you provide staff or equipment?
Yes – for example, forklifts, cranes, pallet trucks, and setup helpers.
What happens if there are delays during setup?
Please inform us immediately – we remain flexible and adjust our schedule where possible.
Customs & International Trade Shows
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. We take care of all customs formalities, including the preparation of export declarations, Carnet ATA, and re-import processing.
What is a Carnet ATA?
An international customs document for temporary exports to trade fairs. We arrange this for you.
What do I need to consider for trade fairs in non-EU countries?
Complete documents (packing list, invoice, certificate of origin) must be submitted in time. We provide individual advice.
After the Trade Show
How does the return transport work?
We collect the materials after dismantling and either deliver them back to your address or to storage – depending on the agreement.
What happens in case of loss or damage?
Contact us immediately. We will handle the claims process.
Insurance & Liability
Is my cargo insured?
Yes, by default according to ADSp. Extended transport insurance is available upon request.
What should I do in the event of damage?
Please report damages immediately, ideally with photos. We will ensure a quick resolution.
Can you also insure my goods for me?
On request, we can also arrange separate transport insurance.
Contact & Support
Will I have a dedicated contact person?
Yes. From your inquiry to the return transport, you will be assisted by a personal contact.
Is there an emergency number during the trade fair?
Always contact your personal contact person first. If they cannot be reached, you can call our emergency number at any time: +49 202 27158 88
Can you also insure my goods for me?
On request, we can also arrange separate transport insurance.
